Yeah, I was pretty surprised by that rating. We were in the neighborhood so I figured we'd stop in and check it out.

Actually we were going to try Luigi's but we were in that Memorial area at the time so we tried Pizaro's. Definitely going to try to get to Luigi's soon and check it out. I've heard it's pretty damn good.

Went to Hubcap Grill in the Heights yesterday. Nice place. Had a bacon cheeseburger that was excellent. The jukebox outside with nothing but 90s alt rock and old R&B was a nice touch.

I was in California Friday night and went to The French Laundry for dinner. It was exceptional, certainly one of if not the best restaurant I have ever been to. The setting and staff is nothing short of amazing.

The 9 course tasting menu was exceptional. It is primarily French with a modern twist.

I am not sure it is worth the coin, but it was nothing short of exceptional. 10/10.

Million times better but more expensive. Maybe the new Carabbas will make Da Vinci's less packed. We went on a Monday night at 9pm and barely got a table. Make a reservation a week in advance.

pho hung off bellaire and kirkwood. Not bad at all, 8.5/10. Actually was gonna go to the new pho dien across the street at first, but they sold out freaking pho broth they said. WTF, at 6:30pm???
I had #3, decent quality and quantity of meat, generous and fresh portion of thai basil and bean sprout. A nice hidden gem in "viet town".

One of the In and Out Burger in Dallas, we went through the drive through Saturday night because we were in a rush and hadn't eaten anything all day.

Still don't get the craze about these burgers, didn't when I first tried them in LA and still don't.

    Monument Cafe in Georgetown TX

Solid A. Everything locally sourced, organic and fresh made. Kids had burgers with fresh made potato chips. I had a great CFS with fresh cut french fries and onion rings. Desert was a black berry fried pie. Excellent meal.

Which dish was it? I have had Uchi both in Houston and Austin. It has a great ambiance and the food was great. But it was just too expensive for me. I ate over 150 dollars no alcohol and I was still starving. No im not fat. Its def. some place you want to go once to experience. I really liked the Jar jar duck also their compressed watermelon with tuna dish.

I enjoyed The House last time I was in SF. It can get really busy though.
