So lately I've noticed a lot of users obsessing over rep. Why? What is it about a pointless score that really motivates people to care? Also stop giving rep to get rep in return (you all know who you are). I won't do it. I won't do it! And yes, I am now posting about rep... why do I care? It makes no sense.

he repped me many years back…..the team wasn't doing so well at the time and many of the oldtime posters had left the GARM after an influx of newbies brought the thread quality down…..i had said something to the effect that i was still posting in there trying to help keep the ship afloat…..he left me a rep message "props" worth 20pts

i got about 200 total rep points from people for the recent van i built for the rockets and clutch the mascot. I'd like to think he repped me anonymously because i never got a clutch signature. If he didn't, well. Haters gonna hate.
I couldn't care less about my reps because I never get repped when I put thought into my posts. I only get repped for my ambien induced sarcastic garbage.
