I'm not sure if anyone has heard or seen this trade but on the 76ers real gm forum there is a respected insider that posts info throughout the offseason. He's so well respected that they stickied a thread for his tidbits. He's kind of like there Doc Rocket. Well anyways this insider has posted that the Rockets offered:

    Ariza
    Jeffries
    Hill

    For

    Iguodala
    Smith

The insiders sn is sixerfan1976. He said the 76ers are listening to offers for Iggy but no deals are iminent they are doing their due diligence and checking around the league for Iggys value. Just sharing some information to help us survive this long summer.

Hmmm, that deal is pretty nice.

Takes our redundant pieces and improves the team.

Smith seems to be some scrub, never heard of it.
But if that's the only deal, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD DO IT. And this is someone's who constantly defended Trevor here.

I can see why, Turner might be Iggy replacement.

I like this deal, we get to keep Battier, and get back Igoudala who more than likely would be a better scorer than Ariza, I also respect Igoudala's playmaking ability.

IF it's true...i dont know if i would do it only because we lose a Center prospect.

I really like Iggy's game - he's got ability to score, he's athletic, quick, and is an above-average defender.

I think he would be a great addition, but i don't know if i'd be willing to part with Hill during the offseason.

I think if this deal is available come trade deadline, and if you haven't seen much improvement from Hill, you do that deal.

    Brooks
    Martin
    Iggy
    Scola
    Yao

Doesn't look too bad on paper.

I don't trust RealGM at all, but IF this were true (big IF) and IF the Sixers would take the deal, I would pull the trigger in a heartbeat.

Its not any realgm writers or editors with the scoop. Its a 76er insider but im with you i take any unnamed source with a grain of salt. The only reason i posted it is because the 76er fans have major respect for the guy and sticky his threads.
