That sounds like your individual social or moral equilibrium, so as a citizen who is hypothetically affected to drastically different degrees than you by each of these issues I say no, as an elected and representative official I would have dozens of different trades in exchange for either issue, half of them would be localized trade or pork, and not single one would be made public.

Crazy ****ing idea - women can have reproductive freedom and we can have a good health care system - like every other rich country. Rockets can have Chris Paul and James Harden. Things are not mutually exclusive l.

And as if Republicans actually care about pro life with the Trumpcare death bill.

    They don't.

It's about tax cuts for the ultra rich, that is the sole purpose behind this giant, toxic mess....thst has been exhaustively demonstrated. Tens of thousands will die. Per year. Millions more will suffer and then die. Families and xhildren will be bankrupted ans devastated and be condemned to misery.

These are actual people. These are very realistic consequences of Trumpcare.

As if the ****ing morning after pill were the same thing.

LOL they weren't allowed to "work with him", they were given an opportunity to go along with whatever he came up with and they declined. Obama never had any intention of compromising with Republicans, hell he literally told them that even if they wanted to go along with his agenda they'd still have to sit at the back of the bus. Let's not try to re-write history so soon. Obama was garbage, Trump also being garbage doesn't change that.

We already have education for all under 18 (except preschool).

Universal healthcare is going to happen. There is no other sensible solution and sense will prevail. Patience.

I don't doubt that people will keep pushing for it till it happens, but they are REALLY going to be upset when they get it and their quality of care declines and it will eat up more and more of the budget every year as it gets more and more expensive at the same rate that the quality falls off. It'll be okay though because eventually people will forget what competent health care is like.....just ask anyone who has used the VA system exclusively for a lengthy period of time. Also, eventually people will get used to the idea of entitlement programs eating up 70 or 80% of the budget every year....hell we've already gotten used to the idea of it eating up 50% to the point where we have people actively pulling for much more.

Another person who doesn't understand insurance.

The pool of VA healthcare recepients especially because of the events of the past 15 years have signficantly more ailments than the general population. The pool of the general population doesn't include a signficantly portion who fought in a god damn war.

The larger the pool of healthy and sick people the more affordable healthcare can become.

Would you be in favor of free contraception? After all, if your goal is to lower the number of abortions that would do it.

I'll trade Sweden's health care system for a wall, 5 year ban on immigration, doing away with DREAMers demanding in state tuition, repealing 1934 NFA and doing away with the ATF.

Hmm.... no, I think that is too much.... how about Sweden's health care system and school system for a 20 year wall, 5 year ban on immigration, and the ATF stands with less funding...... you want DREAMers, it will cost you the gun show loop hole.... we will even throw in police having the right to stop and frisk.

Oh really because Rand Paul agrees with me.

The larger the pool, the more cumulative total of healthy people who don't file claims can pay for people that do. The smaller the pool, the less healthy people who don't file claims pay for those who do which means the cost to pay for those who file claims is divided by less people who don't. The larger the pool, the cheaper.

It's pretty clear you don't understand health insurance.

No **** sherlock. Yes, if every young person is putting in 3000-4000 a year and doesn't take from the system in 15 years, of course that is going to lower the cost.

Its not insurance when you're forced to pay into it. There is no competition; Meaning insurance companies can not offer different types of coverage.

All we have now is private corporations handing which basically amounts to a single-payer system. This is a very bad and stupid idea. It will be mishandled and abused, just as it is now.

If you want to force people into coverage, then tax them accordingly and let the government manage the means to get the care. Dont let private corporations do it.

Its nuts how people despise insurance companies but yet they are clinging for dear life for them to continue to manage our care. Insane.
