I wonder what type of reaction/feelings NFL players will have toward Ray Lewis next season. http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/2000/0604/566818.html Mango ------------------ Live long and prosper. Donate Blood!
I think it's a disgrace. The D.A.'s office knew they had no evidence of murder against Lewis, they only knew he lied in his initial statement. So, to get him to tell the truth, they charged him with murder. They should have charged him with obstruction from the beginning. ------------------ Get your proper swirve on...visit www.swirve.com (coming in mid-June, for now visit www.eesite.com)
Got to agree. They knew they had him. And he knew they had him. It was a question of who was going to fold first. The DA had time to spare, but Lewis couldn't afford to wait. So he gave in. Bottom line is the truth always comes out anyway, so your better off just letting it out to begin with. uh-hem, Clinton... and, uh-hem, me too. ------------------ humble, but hungry. Rocketman- I think I read somewhere that in the state that the murders occured that someone that tries to "cover-up" (won't co-operate with police or even doesn't come forward with information) a murder is as guilty as the knife-man. I feel better that Lewis didn't do the murders, but he is still an a$$ for lying to the cops in his initial statements about what happened (about notr seeing anything and claiming to not know his friends). Guess just another typical pro athlete - lies to the authorities and can buy their way out of any problem. ------------------
