Sounds like there is serious talk about shipping off okafor for expiring. Once okafor is gone CP3 is going to be mad. It would probably be in their best interest to ship them off at the same time. We might have to throw in an unprotected first rounder. i would still be for it.
Ok, here is a crazy signing scenario for the Rockets: Barack Obama. Think about it. Players like LbJames spent last year donating and campaigning for Obama and are unlikely to play as hard against him, and who is going to hammer the president as he drives inside for a layup? I also hear he has an ok mid-range game and is a pretty good passer. I think this could work.
Oh I get it, you were trying to be funny. Hey guys, he make a funny, haha. Good one. We got to keep our eyes on you. Cohete, haha, what a joker. Obama, lol. I feel as if I should buy a drink in this comedy club since the tickets were free.
Me Likes... I had something similar earlier but this is alot less troublesome, I would be giddy with this one....
would u excuse to tell me how u dare to confirm the Kings will make the deal with Rox for kevin martin ? are u still joking or not waking up ?
Again, why would the Sixers do this? Just to get out of Dalembert's contract? Andre Igoudala right now is better than ANY of those Rocketsplayers you are shipping to Philly, McGrady included.
Portland Outlaw, Howard ---------> Houston 2010 lotto protected first round pick ---------> Indiana Houston Battier ---------> Portland Indiana Rush ---------> Houston Why would Houston do it? This is a trade the pattern of which is same as the Alston for Lowry trade last season. Outlaw and Howard are fillers with expiring contracts. It gives us more cap room flexibility and Rush is a good young player to replace Battier. Adelman could start either Rush or Budinger with Ariza. Why would Portland do it? Well they want Battier that's not a secret. Outlaw is out for quite a long time and I think they'd rather have someone who can contribute right away. A draft pick which is doomed to go beyond top 20 is not that much a price to pay for a "savvy defender" they have long coveted. Why would Indiana do it? They're not happy with Rush's lack of improvement this season, I think. Buy low. He is Morey's type of player and I believe there were rumors a year ago that Rush was the player Morey went for but was selected earlier in the draft.
An alternative depends on what they exactly need: Portland Outlaw ---------> Houston Bayless ---------> Indiana Houston Battier ---------> Portland Indiana Rush ---------> Houston
New Orleans is trying to get rid of Okafor!! Okafor to Houston Blake + Pryzbilla to New Orleans Battier + Cook + Dorsey to Portland I think that's a great deal if New Orleans want to save tons of cash but remain competitive. If Portland wants to fix its problem (two PG's, no decent SF, support Oden's development). If Houston want to be true to the plan (get young, get bigger, more athletic). The bonus is that Okafor would be a great compliment to Yao. As a result of his rebounding/shotblocking, he would soften the blow (defensive) of losing Shane. Potential: Okafor/Hayes/Andersen Scola/Landry Ariza Budinger/Taylor Brooks/Lowry This plus McGrady may be decent coming back. Yao will be decent coming back. The cap space shrinks, but gives us space to re-sign Scola, Lowry, Hayes. Really like this deal. Okafor can focus on his strengths here and we have great personnel. I hope Morey's looking into this.
