I respectfully disagree with your points about Bargnani being a better player than Scola at the present time. I totally agree with the need of getting bigger, longer, faster and tougher in the low post. Having a 5/4 who can step out and defend guys like Okur in the high post and beyond is very important too. I just don't see any solution to this problem at the present time.
How about Steven Hunter? He may be injured but we could explore a trade for him. Maybe Francis or Luther?
I was bored. I guess I can try and justify the trades. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...s=9~9~10~16~17~17~17~17~16~17~10~17&te=&cash= Four way trade. Golden State Trades Anthony Randolph, Marcus Williams, Brandan Wright New Jersey Trades Vince Carter, Sean Williams, Yi Jianlian Minnesota Trades Jason Collins, Brian Cardinal, Mark Madsen. Houston Trades Steve Francis, Luther Head Golden State Recieves Vince Carter, Yi Jianlian New Jersey Recieves Jason Collins, Anthony Randolph, Luther Head, Brand Wright, Brian Cardinal, Mark Madsen Minnesota Recieves Steve Francis, Al Harrington Houston Recieves Sean Williams, Marcus Williams Golden State does this because Yi is Chinese. I am going to assume Vince Carter can play in this running offense. New Jersey does this trade because they tank the next two seasons to secure good draft picks in '09 and '10. Two of them have a one year deal, and the rest have two years remaining. I'm sure this puts them way over 15. I guess they can afford some cuts. They may be looking at some free agent in 2010. It gets rid of VC's bloated four year contract, about 15 million contract. Minnesota does this actually, looking at their roster. I don't know why. They have Ryan Gomes, and Kevin Love. Maybe Kevin Love can play some center behind Al Jefferson. Houston does it because we get a big dude. We also get another point guard if Rafer doesnt work out. If something is wrong, i just did it for fun, and tried to make it reasonable.
frye would be the backup C who could play limited minutes along side yao if the situation needed. hinrich's contract is bad so yes Brooks on the cheap is much better. i like hinrich and would be great with say hinrich for rafer, head. why everyone just wants Deke which is fine for this year im just looking at the future. couple names of young bigs: andray blatche, soloman jones, sean williams, zaza pachulia, tyrus thomas, josh boone, Frye.
Frye is nothing but a jump shooter at this time. He is not that tough presence in the middle who can defend and rebound like the backup C we need. Deke is perfect but we don't have him right now and he is not a permanent solution. I'm not a big fan of Frye tbh. Travis Outlaw is way better. Lets get Sean Williams!!
I didn't realize Bargnani was such a poor rebounder. I backed off that idea. Also, no more trades involving Hinrich. Besides his albatross contract and him being softer than Charmin, the dude is out for at least 3 months. His season is basically done.
This was the first halfway decent trade in the entire thread. And I still wouldn't want to do it. Also, you somehow broke the thread with all that code. First time I have seen that.
This Trade Succeeded! Go back to adjust your trade or start over. Look why are we gonna trade TMAC for anybody exception KOBE!!! I hate it when everyone is on the bandwagon and the again back off it!! We just need to let TMAC rest a bit, Yao grow some gonads, and finally let Aaron Brooks (a.k.a. Jitterbug) start. I'am also tired of people keeping the faith for Rafer, for if he was a decent Pg he could and should average high 9 to 10 assists a game given the talent and scoring power with the surrounding guys (TMAC, YAO, Artest, Scola, and Brent). We also in the mist of 3-4 games been out coached!! There was no reason why the Rockets got taxed they way they did on Sunday by the Lakers!!! TRADE RAfer and Chuck for some JU JU Beads and a six pack of SHUT The HELL UP JUICE!! There is more excuses if the Rockets do not have a successful reg and post season!!! GET RED!!!! OR TMAC AND YAO GO TO BED!!!!!!!!!! If we lose in the playoffs this season break the team up, and Keep Artest and YAO, and trade TMAC. TMAC is the closet to damage goods of the 3 superstars. AND THAT S ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT!!!!!
