What a sad day for Oilers fans!! Just sad for the NFL in general! With him passing at 54, you can be sure there are gonna be tests to see if it was a neurological thing from his playing days. Hill was the Silent Assassin in the run-n-shoot, and he will be missed!! RIP Drew Hill!!

This. Always picked the Oilers and threw to him, Givens, Jeffries, and Duncan.

    Legend.

    Very sad news.

I started watching the Oilers in 1990, so Drew was very big in my memories. I was bummed when he left the quartet. I Webster Slaughter was brought in to take his place alongside Jeffires, Givins, and Duncan.

(Clearly everyone on this thread is an old schooler)

RIP. I used to see Drew all the time as a kid. He was dating one of my high-school teachers. Nice guy...

Drew was smooth on the field, and a good guy. On a team that had its share of mercurial moments, the Oilers receiving core was very anti-diva. Not much complaining and trouble making coming out of them. (Maybe cuz there were so many passes being flung around in the run & shoot its was hard NOT to get any touches :))

    RIP
