Okay, ordered a copy of Sun Ra's "Jazz in Silhouette" from an Amazon marketplace seller last Tuesday (8 days ago) in importcds specialists. They are based out of Irvine, CA and I get an email stating that they had shipped my CD on that same day (around 6:30 pm). I live in TN, halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga and when I have bought from them in the past, it takes anywhere from 2 to 3 days for the item to arrive. Well, here we are 8 days after the order, and it still is not here.

I have contacted them and asked if they had a tracking number (which they replied they did not, of course). They told me it could take up to 21 days to get it which I don't believe at all. Now, I am not naive enough to think that something from CA to TN will take only 2 to 3 days to get here. I think in the past they have used expedited shipping and either didn't charge for it or built it into their price. With Easter being this past weekend, maybe the delay is due to that and this item not being sent out with expedited shipping. But, I ask Clutchfans on how long it takes to get something from CA or say NY to Texas or wherever you live. Have you ever had to wait 2 weeks or longer?

I think that they either lied about shipping it out (may have just shipped today) or it got lost in the mail. Appreciate any info here. Just another reason to get all of your music by mp3 - so you don't have to deal with this crap.

It's possible they sent it via USPS Media Mail which is slow as hell. Cheap, but slow. I think it's around 7 business days.

    hp,

You'll need to edit your post as I can't risk my wife finding out that I have a girlfriend.

It has to go around the whole world... so it's about 80 days. Jackie Chan proved it.
    Haha, that's funny.

Now I need to edit mine, too. :(

Tom Hanks had it on an island with him after the FedEx crash.

You'll never know how much it helped him to surive.

Unfortunately, it was lost at sea as it was tied up to Wilson to prevent Wilson's belly from sunburning.

    WILSON!!!! I'M SORRY!!! WAHHHHHHHH!!!!
