    Purchasing Custom Kitchen Cabinets (Advice)

I am in the middle of kitchen remodeling and was wondering if anybody out there has any referrals or recommendations on semi-custom kitchen cabinets? I have went t Lowes and Home Depot and while their quality is very good.....they are a bit pricey. I'm not willing scrafice quality but I thought I would look around to see if I can find quality custom cabinets cheaper. Any suggestions?

E Mail me through the message board. I had a guy do all my house remodeling and he built me a bar in my dining room. His work was really good and he told me you can honestly get custom built cabinets at about the same price as prefabricated one you see at most stores. I have not spoken to him in 5 years but his work was great.

Some friends of mine got some really nice cabinets from Ikea for a fairly affordable rate. If you're close to one, go check it out.

My friend is the son of a cabinet-maker, and he tells me the same thing.
