Does this play annoy else to the point that it does myself? They always say basketball is a contact sport but anytime a player pump fakes, then waits till the defender jumps in the air, than the player jumps into the defender to get two free throws. I know this is a good strategy but it annoys the crap out of me. Or when a guy with the ball intentionally flings his or arms or legs out to try and sell contact. Sorry just had to vent after watch Gasol, Kobe, Fisher, Pierce pull this crap.
Somebody post the video of Dirk flopping on Rybo in the 2005 playoffs. There was zero contact but Dirk fell backward and a foul was called.
I wouldnt say annoy but I think it's stupid [for the refs to call] and think it's cheap. But ehh, jmo. Did you see this thread ?
if anything it's good basketball..it shows good awareness in players... this should only reflect negative on nba ref's i'm a fan of drawing fouls.. it's a good skill to have.. i'm not a fan of bad flopping though
scola does it at least 3 times a game. half the time he doesnt need to and just looks absolutely stupid.
