So I just picked up a PS3 a few weeks back, and after a long night of staying up for Cyber Monday/Sunday deals while figuring out the proper ports to open, and spending over 4 hours troubleshooting why the PS3 wouldnt see my PC, i got it to work. Now the PS3 can see the PS3 Media Server, the Windows Media Server, and the TVersity sever on my PC. I even tested a few videos, and things are working fine. Which brings me to my next step...I'm trying to watch things like StreamTorrent, SOPCast, etc on my PS3 wirelessly....i feel like there must be some way to have VLC copy the feed from one of the above and spit something else out to TVersity to allow me to see it on the PS3. I wanna watch Rockets and Texans games man. Anyone with any ideas/past experience/successful advice is appreciated!
I haven't recently, but why not just watch the games on the PS3 Web Browser with ATDHE.net's feed? I do that all the time. If you're going to reach a live feed on the PC, you can do it on the pS3 unless you need a different FLASH version.
This. Playstation is very picky about the codec's they support and the streaming they allow. Just let the flash do it's thing on the browser.
