Won't matter when Morey somehow acquires John Wall.

He's a better defender than Beverley.

(Let the typical CF flaming commence.)

Llull could be the answer to our PG prayers.

He might be of some use to us, if he comes to Houston. If he plays well, it's possible that he may be included as part of a trade package.

The sources might be from the Rockets to boost his trade value.

Why would a Dallas Maverick guy want to give the Rockets a boost?

I look forward to NBA broadcasters attempting to pronounce his name.

I'm hoping for Dragic-lite. I'm not scout, but from reading about him over the past few years, I like that 1) he has great size (6'3"+), 2) he seems to be a solid to above-average shooter, and 3) he's a good on-the-ball defender.

This source also makes sense considering that Bev is a FA and will be paid by someone this year, and I'm 100% sure it won't be us.

Yes, the Houston Rockets own his rights.

perfect for Harden...but what you really want to see is Llull and Brewer running fast breaks together.

I stopped caring about this dude at least half a decade ago. He's not coming. Don't believe what the experts say. Mauri should and probably will focus on other PG options.

Anybody know if the Europeans generally consider Lull better or worse than Papanikolaou?

I'm not really following the Euroleague, but I can say that Llull is much more well known than Kpap here (Israel).

And he has a couple of nice circus shots and buzzer beaters to his name (first minute):

Thought the 3 point line in Europe was differnt. Didn't Kpap have a high 3% also and struggled in nba ?

Euro stats seem to be really hard to translate into NBA success, but he looks like he has the tools to do well in a faster paced offense, and seems smart enough to run a read and react scheme like Houston utilizes.
