Exactly, add him to the list. He didn't look like his scouting report; he looked like an NFL linebacker.
Man, Watson should start week three and cement himself as the Patriots killer. He did it to Alabama. I'd love to see him do it to New England.
My favorite watson pass was when he changed his throwing motion to fit the tight window in traffic. that might be his best non cheesy quote ever. I like it. better than i've eaten burritos bigger than you.
Texans need to work on that secondary. They got worked. I'm guessing there will be some free agent tryouts in the next couple of days.
so used to our QBs getting happy feet and then turtling up and going down under pressure Watson moved around in the pocket with ease while keeping his eyes downfield
It's Watson for me. By game 3 for sure. Savage is and looks like a solid backup. No shame but he's too afraid of making a mistake to make a play. Watson just oozes playmaking ability. I'll take the mistakes that come with it. Other draftees that looked the part, foreman runs with power and some speed and cunningham looks like a good backer. JJo sucks, so they paid him and let Bouye walk. Should've been the other way around. Kareem hits like and has the speed of a safety, so while the safety position may be dipping to an all time low they will continue to play those two at corner and let Kevin Johnson rot. What the hell ever. I'm over it. Shittiest CB duo in the league. Overpaid ancient guy who can't cover in the end zone and gets dinged up and a guy who has been too slow for corner since day 1. As good as the front 7 is, the backfield will be equally ****. I think Strong is deserving of some reps here. I don't see anyone else making plays. OL was horrendous as expected. Didn't think any one of them made a name for themselves. OL has to be the easiest position on the field. Be huge and get in the way. Bunch of slapasses out there.
Im honestly on the fence about Watson's ability to extend the play. I love when it happens but I can't help but thinking one of these days it's going to get him blindsided and in queue for ACL repair
Much more confident in signing Watson. He's raw, but the talent and POISE is there unlike any Texans QB ever. His arm even looked stronger than I imagined.
