Well, now that the Rockets are well on there way to getting their proverbial S**T together and play some more focused ball, let's look at the predictions ... here's the update.
Monday Am Predictions for November

 -------- IND DAL SAC SEA SAC DAL POR VAN SailorMan................... 6-9 W W W L L L L W CabbageHead................. 4-11 L W L L L L L W EuroChocoletRockolet........ 7-8 W W L W L W L W AeroFrancisco............... 5-10 L L W L L W L W Leonard the Cohen........... 7-8 W W L W L W L W RocketeerOuttaHeer.......... 6-9 L W W L L W L W HatchetMan.................. 4-11 L W L L L W L L Shake-A-Lake-A-Lam-Dam-Doo.. 5-10 L L L W L W L W GreekJammer................. 10-5 W W W W W W W W Tired Dwarf................. 4-11 L W L L L W L L BrainyScienceNerd........... 7-8 W W W L L W L W Barkley'sBro................ 8-7 L W W L W W W W Surgeon d'Basquette......... 6-9 W W L L L W L W IggyPopAlleyOop............. 7-8 W W W L L W W L RockHardAss................. 6-9 W L L W L L W W BoHunkMoDink................ 8-7 W W W L L W W W A.E.NeumanWorryWart......... 4-11 L L L L L W L W BigBKBurgerKing............. 10-5 W W W W W W W W Detective................... 5-10 * W W L L L W L ShotCaller.................. 7-8 * W W W L W L W ------------

As of 11-29-99 ...... 3-11
Looks like Cabbage, Sleepy, NoWorries and Axeman are the odds on favorites to make the all "Bugsy-Segal-LasVegas-SportsBook" team. LOL Doesn't 4-11 have a nice ring to it? Thanks to AirFrancis for his input.
Just running some numbers, and here's what I found: Of the teams that the Rockets have LOST to, they have a combined winning percentage of .667. Other than Dallas at 5-9, all the teams that have beaten the Rockets are .500 or better. That said, the Rockets are about where you could have expected them at this point in the season with a new team. Trade the Laker win for the Dallas loss and the Rockets have taken care of business against the sub .500 teams and struggled against the better teams. And that's not to mention the games that were definately "winable" but were lost in the 4th quarter due to rookie mistakes and unfamiliarity. I think you'll see the Rockets starting to win some of those games against the .500 ballclubs, and later in the season against the winning teams.
Tonight's game is no gimee, with Dream out. Vancouver is a team that Dream can play well against. 3-12 is not out of the question.
