Rockets somehow always have many in the 70s when they should be in the 80s with the current rating system. I think Eric might indeed make it, though indeed Capela should, Tucker and Ryan too. Chris Paul should be 90, Harden high 90s but I think Harden 94 sounds right and Chris Paul will get 89 probably.

Not a bad first attempt. I agree with you mostly although I would think Harden ends up a 94 or 95 and Paul a 90. Other then that - I think it's mostly spot on.

...the other question is what is the TEAM's rating?

Yet, the overall team ratings will somehow rank the Rockets behind the Thunder because computer algorithms can't deny the stat-padding wizardry of Brodie and his new bestie Georgie.

From the ratings that have been released so far it feels that everyone is a bit elevated. As an example, I saw that Beverley was rated at 79, and in the past he would be around 75 or 76. With that trend, I would have to guess that Gordon and Capela would be in the 80's. Ariza would have to be close too.

Harden will be either 95 or 94. Leonard got 95. It is expected Westbrook will get 95. It will be interesting to see if Paul stays in the 90's.

not so fast. the developers have said that there are only four players with 95+ rating this year. We already know three of them (LBJ, Durant, Kawhi ), so the one remaining spot is reserved for either Westbrook or Harden. Since Westbrook just won the MVP, my guess is that Harden comes short of 95 mark.
