Ok, we're really down on the coaching hire, and I'm sure we'll be a mediocre team... BUT Harden has the opportunity to beat all kinds of statistical records.
Think about the fast pace and how many extra possessions he'll have.

So let's predict his crazy stat line. I'll start.

    35 pts, 7.2 rebs 8.8 ast, 2.5 stl
    46% FG, 89%, FT

Am I expecting too much stat padding out of D'antoni's system?

Honestly, I think Harden cares more about his personal stats that team wins. That is where I draw the line and become "disinterested. Have you heard that word before? Bet you have.

Beverly might fake a season ending injury, no way he want to handle the ball

Just to add to my original posts. I'll predict 4.5 TOs as well. It might even reach 5 TOs.

    what about his turnover #'s?

honestly, if harden officially becomes the primary ball handler under mda, i see a disaster waiting to happen. harden's fundamentals are solid, but he ain't nash. he and the team will be better off if he plays the 2, not 1.

I think he'll finish in the top five of scoring and assists if we surround him with legit shooters.

Hell he almost did it with Brewer and Ariza doing the chuckin'.

I'm hoping we sign Ryan Anderson. Maybe we take a flier on Fredette? I could see him saving his career in the MDA offense.

Harden doesn't shoot enough to average 35.

He shoots enough free throws. And the point is his shots go up under MDA.

OIk, I'm thinking about it more, And I'll drop the PPG and up the TOs.

    I'll say 33 ppg, 7 rpg, 9apg, 2.5spg, 6 TOpg

i know it's hard to teach an old dog a new trick but i think you're making assumptions about a man you've never met. harden wants to win. its hard when you're playing with a bunch of JV goons. he sure seemed to want to win in 2014-15 when he iced damn near every game down the stretch like it was nobody's business but his. on a constantly injured team of cast-offs. dude wanted to win. dude DID win. realize harden isn't you, doesn't do what you would do. watch him or don't. maybe you don't deserve him
