We had Foster, Brothers, Washington, Mauer, Guthrie and Malloy so far. Capers, Tiven and Zarba worked last night. That leaves 11 officials available for tonight. We need to end this soon before we meet up with the Foster Brothers again. https://thisiswhyweplay.nba.com/conference-finals-officials/
Everyone of those guys look like they would steal your wallet and kar keys, then take a glorious piss on your lifeless body.
Doesn’t matter who we get, they’ll be in Golden State’s favor.. The crowd will be able to sway the refs; So don’t expect any important calls in our favor.
Houston @ Golden State Marc Davis (#8) Sean Corbin (#33) Jason Phillips (#23) Bill Spooner (#22) Replay Center: James Capers
Usually if you don't remember them too well that's a good thing. So I'm thinking this is a fair group, I know Marc Davis IIRC doesn't give Harden many calls on his drives but we'll see.
He's also the guy that called Draymond Green for 2 technical fouls in a finals game last year and instead of ejecting him he changed the first technical foul to being on Steve Kerr so that Green could stay in the game.
marc davis worked our only loss vs MIN he is the b****iest ref in the league, typically for all teams but particularly for us. i am fully expecting a loss tonite and hope we play as physical as possible anyways, racking up fouls and techs. let's set a playoff record in fact.
Well, it's league mandate that Green can't get thrown out of games. Last time that happened the Warriors slipped up and lost a series, so now Green gets to yell and holler and bully refs as much as he likes to.
Marc Davis called an even number of fouls resulting in a even number of FTA for both home and away teams this season. he's also right on the league averages for FTA and fouls. during 8 playoff games this season he's called the same number of fouls for the home and away teams but its resulted in almost 4 more FTA for the away team! Sean Corbin has called 1 more foul per game on the away team resulting in 2.4 more FTA for the home team during the regular season. he is almost 2 FTA per game above league averages. in 4 playoff games this season he's and called 4 more fouls on the home team resulting in 8 more FTA per game for the away team! he's called 4 more fouls per game than the league average in the playoffs, but resulted in 9 less FTA per game than the league average in the playoffs. Jason Phillips is right on the league averages of fouls and FTA for the season. however he favors the home team by more than 1 FTA per game. in 7 playoff games this season he's called 1 more foul per game on the away team resulting in more than 2 FTA per game for the home team. he's also off of the league averages for the playoffs by the same numbers. Bill Spooner is right on league averages for fouls and FTA for the season. he halls 1 more foul per game on the away team resulting in 1 more FTA for the home team which is not too far off the league average. in 5 playoff games this season he's called the same fouls per game for the home and away teams, but that resulted in 5 more FTA per game for the away team! playoff FTA averages: +3.75 FTA for the away team. I'll take it! Just watch out for that Jason Phillips!
We cant defend. Everything is a foul but Capela can get mauled on the inside but its a no call for us .
