<Poll> Hartenstein is emerging as a superstar...

Discussion in 'Houston Rockets: Game Action & Roster Moves' started by Williamson, Dec 31, 2019.

?

Why is Hartenstein emerging as a super star?

  1. He will dominate the 2020's solely because of Williamson's undying faith in him and uncanny scouting

  2. He will dominate the 2020's solely because RocketOrg let it be known how bad a judge of talent he is

    18 vote(s)
    14.0%
  3. Neither. Hartenstein was destined for greatness regardless of both of you idiots.

He’s a better finisher around the basket. That pump fake at the rim that made two defenders fly pass him and leave him for the open layup was skill.

He is a very young player who needs to improve many aspects of his game (mainly on the defensive side), but he can contribute a lot to this team (including three-point shooting). It is important that MDA continue to give him minutes.
Happy new year my friends and GO ROCKETS!

Going against the #2 team in the west, Harden and Westbrook each played 34 minutes. Without the current depth, they each would have been around 40...that’s encouraging.

the next big project is getting Tuckers minutes down. He played 34 tonight, and that’s without a single minute of small ball 5 (Capela played 30 and Hartenstein 18). That cannot continue. Either we have to up the minutes for McLemore/House at the 4, play Gary Clark some, or go find somebody that can give us 10-15 as a defensive wing.

Everybody was right where they should be in this game and I love that we have some matchup flexibility with Rivers and McLemore. But if Tucker goes down or wears down, we are toast.

Its easier to do on a team whose rookie gets unjustified calls vs superstars of other teams

On rockets not even harden gets deserving calls let alone hartenstein

Yea lets hope morey doesn't start salivating on the possibility he could be thrown in as a rising star for trade purposes. Would be another lost player that came from houston traded.

We can use him to mark Gianns, AD and Donic.

I can't wait till he starts getting the confidence to take some 3's. We know he is capable. Can you imagine him in there WITH Clint, with their 7'2" and 7'4" wingspans?
