The offseason is coming, and there is one little problem, everybody knows that steve wants to play the 2, so who will be the starting pg? Mochie Norris - He knows the system, he is a true pg, i Think he will be ok Alvin Williams -I know so many of you want min, he would be a nice addition Gilbert Arenas- This is my favourite, he is tall, he can shoot, pass, dribble, he is explosive, is like a younger francis. Tony Parker- A true point guard, but inconsistent (maybe because he is only 20), its gonna be hard to get him but you never know. Andre Miller- A TRUE passer, no defense, no perimeter shoot, but i like the way he distribute tha ball. Jason Kidd-On of the best pg in the league (if not the best) every team will love to have him but only a few can, this pick is almost impossible Gary Payton-Look Jason Kidd maybe with the draft pick choose some young european, but you need to develope this type of players for a few years. (unless you get another tony parker) OR YOU PREFFER STEVE STAYS AT POINT GUARD Whats your choice? (Another point guard in mind.)
As long as Steve plays for the Rockets, He will NEVER be moved to the 2. So I'm fine with are point guard position.
u sure bout that, the whole offseason is pretty much ditated by bringin' in a big point to let steve move over to the 2.
U forgot Jamal Crawford -Tall,good PG skills, had a very good end of season The Bulls might be a bit reluctant after the good stretch Crawford had,but their futur at PG is JWill.I'd guess a Cat for Crawford trade would satisfy both teams. ALA
once again i agree with you a la. crawford is #1 on my wish list. he has just as good of a jumper as cat. he plays almost as good as cat on defence. cat may be able to lead a team in scoring on some nights, but crawford will be a team leader on most nights.
I don't want Arenas....like a less talented SF. That Berry guy in Seattle would be nice tho. also...this has been bothering me....I have always thought it was spelled defense....I notice that many people spell it differently....I am usually wrong however. I'm not trying to be an ass... I just want to know....
My #1 choice is gary Payton, as he would improve our team and he would improve the individuals on our team skill-wise. Second on my list is Jeff McInnis. HARD worker, defense, great size, and very efficient.
Francis needs to run SG, at least part of the time. So Cat needs to be moved for a solid point. Best PG we could get for Cat is a McInnis-type. Andre Miller's value has never been this low, and Alvin Williams would help too. Jamal Crawford would be fun (he's dying for a chance to prove he's a starter in this league), but the way Jay Williams played last year will no doubt make the Bulls hesitant to move Crawford. Netting Miller for Mobley would be a steal, though it's more likely we land a McInnis or Williams. Not as flashy but probably as effective. Also, there's no way we get Payton, Parker or Arenas. Payton is overrated, Parker is untouchable and Arenas will be too expensive.

Err.... I do not know if he knows the system or not but he played badly. He is NOT OK. Get rid of him!
He DOES know the system. Dribble until the shot clock reaches 3 and jack it up. Gotta love Rudy-ball!
If Moochie is OK, then we need to use the following lineup and trade everyone else. Moochie Maddox Hawkins Morris Collier Championship is coming!
Anyone but Moochie he is the 'King of Dribble Mania' and bottom of the list and isnt good enough be in the NBA.
Im hoping we can aquire Sam Cassell from the Bucks. He should provide the veteran leadership our team needs and give us a nice passer at the pg while Francis can score all he wants at the 2.
A simple three way trade of Rocks give Mobley Get Arenas G.S. give Arenas G.S. get Miller Clippers give Miller Get Mobley works wonders for all three teams
It's not like the Clippers have 2 young SG's on their squad who can start. Oh, and I think we definitely can use a converted SG to play PG for us, especially one who has a bad asst-to ratio. That woould just work wonders for us. TaiMaiShu, Really, we enjoy debating trades. EVERYONE enjoys debating trades. But we try to stay down to earth, be realistic, and we look to solve problems for our team. How does getting Arenas solve ANYTHING? He's a poor man's Francis with a HORRIBLE attitude (judging by his NY game and the Nuggets debacle). I think you should think about your trades a little more. I'm not flaming you or anything, you can do whatever you want on this board. I have ZERO authority here. I'm just giving you some constructive criticism, because people with 50 posts who propose the same trade 15 times a day generally don't last long on this board.
