OK, here's the deal. I play in a local band called Secret Agent 8 and we have the opportunity to play at a festival in Las Vegas in March. We are one of 13 bands competing for a final spot. What they've decided to do is have an online poll to determine who wins. So we desperately need people to go vote us. Well, earlier today two bands, Pocketface and the Ted Dancing Machine had 800 votes each. I guess they figured out a way to vote multiple times. They since posted this message "ONLY VOTE ONCE If fans vote more than once we will go in and correct the scores." And then they got knocked down to about 240. Anyway, thank you for voting. I think that the voting ends at the end of January but I'm not sure. Thanks for helping. I wanted to post on more boards but am not sure where to start. Even though I don't post alot, I'm on here ALL the time so I naturally posted here. I also posted on CoogFans.com, Nancies.org (DMB fansite) and a saxophone website that I frequent alot. But other than that I'm not sure where to start. Also, our next show is January 3rd @ Fitz and we're planning to make flyers to pass out. Hopefully we'll get a big push from that.
If I were you, I'd go to some college computer lab and vote from every computer. BTW, CC.net folks, its pathetic that we cant get our guy ahead!
