He joined in 2002. Clutch periodically mass upgrades rookies to members (even if they haven't posted anything in weeks), so don't try too hard to become a member by posting excessively. It helps if you don't draw attention to yourself by making posts full of "..............." It makes you look like an attention w****. Proper grammar, capitalization, and spelling are huge pluses when trying to become a member. Don't whine about being a rookie as well, that is a huge plus as well.
