Wondering why no one is talking about changing up the playoff seeding this year. It seemed to be a constant complaint the last few years, but this year I haven't heard anything. I wonder if the East is complaining that GSW and SAS get to inflate their records by beating up on teams like the Rockets, Dallas, and Utah?

I don't think people were complaining about that aspect of it. Not between conferences.

The big complaint was winning the division being an automatic top 4 thing. Which i think they changed.

wrt no conference alignment, the complaint would come more from GSW and SAS for having to face off prior to the Finals. Further, OKC has to face one in the 2nd round. I don't understand what you're saying about the East complaining.

As for in-conference seeding, last year's complaint was due to Durant getting injured opening the way for a 51 win Portland team getting 4th seed, when a 55 win SAS team got 6th. I also remember complaints last year about the possibilities of teams in the West positioning themselves in the last few games to get into their bracket of choice to get away from GSW.
