wow. It seems league offices are getting dumber and dumber. They make decisions that make no sense. It kind of starts with us and our move to fire Adelman though, so its not like we are free of this mark.
Considering there wasn't much of a dropoff in results, I wouldn't put hiring McHale over Adelman in the same category as the incompetent Pistons hiring someone random like Cheeks.

There is nothing wrong with Mo Cheeks but his track record as coach suggests he's mediocre at best. After the flameouts by Michael Curry & John Kuester followed by Lawrence Frank, mediocrity is a step in the right direction for the Pistons. The Curry and Kuester experiences have probably made them shy about hiring first-timers. When Cheeks gets fired, Dumars has to go with him. His time should have been up already.
