“play the game the right way”

man please, gtfoh with that BS...if this were Lebron doing the same thing you’d say he reminded u of MJ and give him your MVP vote real quick, but because it’s Harden, he’s not playing the right way...

Harden is doing what he needs to do in order to get wins which is what it’s all about...he’s doing what a superstar is supposed to do

they’re just inventing new ways to try and fool themselves into thinking that Giannis is actually the MVP over Harden

Giannis bullies his way into the paint and dunks and lays it up from 3 feet most of the time. Hardly exciting.

At this point part of me just wants Giannis to get the MVP and then have Harden embarass him in the Finals like Dream did to the Admiral in 95. Make the media choke on their hating and wishy-washiness.

All of a sudden record matters, couple years ago when Westbrick won MVP stats were more important apparently

Remember when Scottie Pippen and Tracy McGrady tried to do a segment.

"How to guard James Harden" then James Harden went on to a Historic 30 point streak. and 50 point games, 60 point games. Scottie Pippen never acknowledged that, Tracy McGrady is still bitter with the a Rockets not retiring his number.

The Rockets Retire Greatness, Not Quitters.

Calvin Murphy went to the Finals at least, lost to Boston.
Rudy Tomjanovich 2 Championships as a Coach
Hakeem Olajuwon the Greatest Rocket ever, only Star in history to carry a Championship without a 2nd All Star.
Clyde Drexler willed the Rockets to a 2nd Championship, played and hurt, and won a Championship
Yao Ming the most loved and brought China and USA together. Retire his jersey because of this.
    Excellent player, unfortunate injuries

Tracy McGrady always badmouthed the Rockets. Picked the Lakers over the Rockets when he got injured.
No Leadership abilities, never played through injuries, 1st Round Exit is his Only Accomplishment.
Had surgery when he knew about being traded, Quit on the Rockets at Toronto, standing Midcourt at offense.

The right way is to elevate your game in such a way that turns weaknesses into strengths. Jordan did it with his defense as did Harden.

He’s beig selective with his criteria. If it were not important, then he may have a point, but the box scores speak for themselves. Harden has been very productive. I guess he doesn’t like the idea of anyone sniffing Jordan’s brilliance.

Man, it’s really a shame how a lot of the media’s bias against Harden makes you start rooting against other players.

Giannis is an amazing player, and is a lot of fun to watch. He is kind of like Harden, in a sense that he doesn’t really talk a lot. He just goes about his business. However, when you see people saying “Harden doesn’t play the right way. He travels. He doesn’t play defense. He flops.” It makes you really have a mentality of “Us against everyone else.”

Same thing happened with Westbrook. I never really had a problem with the guy. I never thought he was an efficient scorer, but I loved his effort on a nightly basis. However, that mvp season of his, where we literally just saw Curry take the mvp because “Best player on the best team”, but were then told that well, we can’t ignore the amazing stay of Westbrook. All Rockets fans asked for was consistency.

Oh well. Rockets fans know Harden plays the game the “right way”, and his stats/our wins show as much.

aka "Harden plays 0 defense and is a ballhog" narrative that the majority of the media member still believes
