Hey all, I'm looking for some courts in and around Houston where there are some pickup games in the evenings. I live in the Heights, so somewhere decently close would be nice (no Katy courts). There is a court right down the street from me, Lawrence Park. But, every time I go there, the people who are playing a) dont speak english b) wear jeans and long sleeve shirts to play during August c) drink corona while playing, lol. Any suggestions?

you are pretty close to the court at Spotts Park - Waugh @ Memorial. It's a big park with minimal parking that gets a lot of non-basketball traffic (volleyball, runners, exercisers, dog walkers), but also always has pickup games in the evenings. It's not for former division 1 college players (typically), but there are some decent pickup players there.
