not a league. Just the fellas getting together to play ball.

Why can't people just be honest? If you hit it out, say it's off me. If you foul someone call it for them. Aren't these kinda like,..pickup etiquette ? Are people really that competitive when no money or trophies are on the line?

The worst though...is pickup games you just met everyone, you got 10 guys wearing 10 colors and people act like they're on your team and go WOOO for the ball....really man? So tacky. Just play....

On a related note, I really severely tweaked my back last year. Like, out of work, in therapy tweaked. It was bad. Pulling closer and closer to a year ago, it still hurts and is recovering slowly but I finally felt strong enough to go play some ball. Couple of games, made a couple buckets so at least I can still shoot lol... Being that injured is insane, I'm sore as hell right now but being able to play a few games is nothing short of a blessing and I am grateful.

That one move tells me everything I need to know about you as a man. It should be a ban-able offense. Seriously only the lowest of the low pull that ****, and laugh and celebrate like they won a ******* medal whenever it works. Douche nozzles.

yeah. my appreciation for that is less than nothing.

Another pickup etiquette is to know the intensity of the game. If everyone is getting their dog on, it's one thing. But to bust out like defense like PatBev when nobody else has been doing that all night, all game...that's just weak IMO. setting hard screens and stuff outta nowhere, that's how people get hurt. I still have a floater in my left eye where a kid scratched me trying to D up in a pickup game. un-friggin-necessary.

Or bringing teammates in, like y'all have a league or something to play in but thought eh, we'll come RUN PLAYS DURING A PICKUP GAME. Gtfo of here with that, go find more leagues to play in if it means that much to you.

IDK, maybe i'm just getting older and saltier. It just bugs me how people can't just have fun, isn't that what we came for? At a church on tuesday night? fun? bueller?

I hate dudes who barely jog back on defense, but as soon as we get the ball back they turn into usain bolt and sprint back to the other end calling for the ball.

    Dropball remains underappreciated.

Y'all haven't played with the real pick up on here paulwtfk. He gonna put moves on you that spin every which way and then kill you with the quick release jumper.

    You ain't seen nothing

And then proceeds to put a loaf of bread on you to establish dominance.
