Good for them, but it's not going to be Chris Paul, i think, just too old, they will probably go after someone like Conley (like @steddinotayto said in another thread ) or Teague (horrible choice imo), Holiday...i just hope they don't **** it up and trade that for Schroder, i can actually see this coming...

    But
Yea but CP3 is the most accomplished pg of those mentioned.. And why would they trade a 6th overall pick for Conley or Teague? Lol

They want a veteran PG. Not an old washed up one.

Past accomplishments don't really carry over to future production. Conley would be the perfect back court partner for Booker. If I were Phoenix my list would be:

    1. S&T Brogdon
    2. Conley
    3. Jrue Holiday once New Orleans goes on a fire sale
    4a. Teague
    4b. Paul

Well, Conley is a very good player, imo one of the most underrated in the nba, the contract is just much better and he's 3 years younger...probably also more inclined to play there, i'm not sure Chris would be ok in going there tbh.

Could we do it without getting a bunch of bad contracts back?

Most likely not. If they renounce the rights to all of their FA except for Oubre, that gives him about $13 million in cap space. They would need to trade us Tyler Johnson, at the bare minimum, in order for it to work. That might not be a bad thing I guess because a trade exception of about $16 million would be generated to go with the #6 and Johnson. Use that $16 million to acquire more players via trades.

I think Eric Gordon is the right guy next to Booker.

As long as we could get 2 good players out of the trade, trade exception, LTS and draft pick, it would worth it.
