He really looks like a PG in that photo. That's the classic PG image/eyes. Nice choice. And you picked one that doesn't make him look fat. I'm sure @Mr. Clutch will approve for that reason. Spoiler: critique Problem with that image is the level of difficulty. There is a fine line between Harden scanning the floor and looking scared. Your rendition, for whatever reason, is on the scared-look side of the spectrum. But that will only come across in large scale. Avatar size it will look great. Love the KT Tape, and the caricature beard.
Like the oversize beard. Fix the buckteeth though, and put a bit more definition in his ball-holding hand.
You gave him Kevin Willis arms. Proportion is all off. Head and mouth are at the wrong angle and eyes are wrong. That is what is creating the scared look heypartner is talking about.
The photo has a more casual look, like scanning for chicks at a strip club, and the drawing Harden has a looking-over-his-shoulder with eyes-wide-open scared look. Maybe a simple change like giving him more casual, droopy eyelids as in the photo will fix it. Can't let the defense know I'm looking at them through the corner of my eyes, just like chicks at a bar. Gotta be cool about it. btw: Maybe that's where Harden's court vision comes from ... his awesome Strip Club vision where everything slows down and he can see butts behind his head. Tell me this isn't the sly sneak-a-peak at a nice ass look.
Maybe Morey should take into consideration a player's butt size. The bigger it is, the more likely Harden can find him on the floor. A very important advanced metric.
