Smith is an idiot, he didn't compare him to Rodman based on skill, hustle, athletic ability, heart or any of that. He based it purely on being A NUTCASE who does what he wants. Unfortunately for Mr. Smith, he does not possess Rodman's desire to win nor the ability to be in service of the team despite being a distraction.

That was like when people this off season were comparing Lance to a prime Artest, but worse.

Lol compared to Rodman for all of the wrong reasons.

With that said the Knicks come and go as J.R. Smith does which is a scary thing.

The only player that came close to Dennis Rodman was Ben Wallace. Kenneth Faried has some traits, but no player is like Wormy who can give you on average 15 rebounds a game in his prime, he finished 13 rebounds a game. Any other comparisons is not speaking truthfully. Triangle that, no rebounds, no success to triangle.

I thought Kevin Love averaged about 15 boards a season? Or close to it

Confirmed. 08-09 season 15.2 boards and 13.33 boards two years ago

Have to take into account # of posessions, etc... As impressive as Love's season was, it falls short of 7 of Rodman's seasons in total rebound %.

I meant he came close to that rebounding level. On the other hand Rodman could score squat and could not shoot.
