Who is this guy Al Jazeera? Usually Adam Schefter scoops these stories.

Saw this come across Twitter a little while ago and read the story.

This seems like a story that's either going to be a game-changer in how we perceive Peyton Manning (among others mentioned in the story) or it's going to be largely discredited in the end and those making these accusations will have a ton of egg on their face.

The "source" has now put out a YouTube video claiming he rejects the story.

Probably true, but who cares? This is football we're talking about, isn't the assumption that they are doing stuff like that?

Everybody is on something in football. It's also the only sport where it's ok to root for opponents to get injured.

This will probably go under the rug while people still complain about Brady's use of alleged deflated footballs... Fans seem to be backing the guy saying "It's just HGH..." or "It's not true..."

If people want to label Brady as a cheater for "deflated" footballs (which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard) then Peyton should be held to the same standard.

But remember... if you deflate a football it's not ok

I believe it. Cro-Magnon forehead is a side effect of heavy HGH use.

So that's why he looks 60 and not 39.

HGH makes you younger. Manning came out and denied it, but he did say his wife was using it. Kind of sounds like roger Clemens.

I guess he should have been taking it this year.

    Say it ain't so Peyton...

Peyton Manning has always seemed like one of the good guys in football and I admit to being a fan, except when he was tormenting the Texans, but really how much do we know about any sports star? I'm going to keep an open mind and wait for much more evidence. If this is true and Manning gets tarred like McGwire and Lance Armstrong it will be a very sad end to a great career.

So all this is based upon a student intern's comments which he has now recanted?

Let's get all the facts on the table here before rushing to judgment. Al Jazeera and HuffPo have very limited credibility.
