I was under the assumption that he was going to be replaced by assistant coach Chris Fitch in the future anyway. Has everyone forgotten about this?
I respect him as a Celtic great, I'm ok with how he worked on this team when we didn't have any stars, but it's not working. Send him back home before it gets worse. Give him the option to step down first so it won't be as embarrassing. Send carpet bagger Morey back to Boston with him. And run Les out of town back to his 50 million dollar apartment in manhattan.
he's a puppet coach, sort of like how the queen of England is the "ruler" of UK and Canada. Morey is the guy running the show, and he's failing spectacularly.
Why do people expect Le$ and Maury to wake up and get rid of McFail, especially Maury? McFail is his puppet. Le$ has basically shown that he considers the team a success as long as they are turning a profit. Some of you will die before Le$ ever pays the luxury tax. They gave the guy an extension before his other contract ran out.
calm down...let's get the talent problem fixed first. You can always fire a coach easily. You can't get talent in a second though.
Morey will just find himself another puppet coach. Simple as that. Mchale is a genius if you ask me. Kicks back and extends arm over the chair and lets Morey get his fetish of closet coaching thru the ipad they give Harden at bench mode. Harden is looking at the stats and thinks hes doing a good job.
Les thinks getting to the playoffs is considered a success. Getting to the second round is winning the lottery to him. McHale is going nowhere unfortunately.
Might as well get the new coach in now so he can establish his system. Why waste another year on bad coaching and player's habits.
I'm for it. But on the other hand who could walk through the door next year who could take us to the NEXT level? Please save from saying Rick alderman and JVG. We all know they ain't walking through the door next year.
