Keeping Parsons and Ariza would have helped us to some extent in theory, but it would not have been enough. Parsons didn't want to stay here. This was something I didn't know about, until the warnings about trying to force him to return came out.
To make up for our former nba player/bad x's and o's coach...... Bring in a former nba player/bad x's and o's coach, brilliant!!
Please no! I rather a ex-Rocket coach the team: Mario Elie, Sam Cassell, or Calvin Murphy. Oh what the heck all three.
Lol @ this thread. Mark Jackson is the same type of coach McHale is, except he's super religious and expects all his players to go to church and stuff like that. The main reason GSW are so much better this year is because their management was smart enough to realize Jackson has no actual coaching skills and is more of a motivator. Now that they have an actual coach their offense is much more fluid and their defense is exemplary. If you look at how GSW played last year you'll see much of the same stuff that goes on this year for the Rockets. I've been saying this for a while, We are last year's Warriors, one good coach away (and a second facilitator: someone like Shaun Livingston, but I think Shved could work out)from taking off
Ill settle for any coach who actually has a playbook . Im tired of this effort and gotta get up and be better without actually showing how this is gonna happen . We need a coach that looks at a game in process and understands how to make needed adjustments. Mchale is not gonna cut it. Yeah if i was a player i would like him too no playbook to remember, lol , we need a coach to get our players as a collective unit to surpass there game .
Yep one of the worst, and not even good at trolling to boot. He probably stays here instead of the Mavs forum because there are like 5 posters over there.
I agree we have one of the weakest coaching staffs in the league and just signed up Chief Idiot for 3 more years. I believe in realtionships, but Morey's man crush on Dr. Limp (McHale) is killing this team. When does Les say enough is enough and bring in a disciplinary to coach this AAU squad.
