I seriously doubt he'd be that casual about a trade that hasn't been announced.

So I posted this earlier in the free agency thread- but now as I went back to look again, he has deleted those snaps. Very fishy.

    Pat welcome back!!!!!!

Looking at the pics..He was gushing over the new locker room..Obviously looks bad as a member of the Raptors, so he deleted them.

    Sorry CH

I'm not giving this the Ron Paul treatment, but NBA players under contract with other teams don't just go into random road arenas during the offseason and stroll through the locker room. It's rather unusual.

FWIW, Patterson definitely feels like a fit in a D'Antoni offense (given his range), and his contract of 1-year, $6M isn't bad, either. Makes you wonder.

Well if he's cheap then you can do worse for a backup PF

That just means an equip mgr snuck him in or something and he messed up by snap chatting pics...I dont find it surprising bc I'm sure hes heard about improvements to locker room and he was probably just curious to see the change, who wouldnt be, after being there before?

Deleting the post makes me more suspicious than anything. It is a little odd.

But if you've got Beasley signed for a non-guaranteed $1.4 million who is an equal shooter, better finisher at the rim, and better rebounder, why trade assets for a more expensive Patterson?

    Speaking of Toronto..

    How's Ross defensively?

FWIW, PP is a better 3 pt shooter, although I'm not sure the percentages currently reflect that...and PP doesnt shoot 3 times per minute, plus better defense.

Exactly. Beasley is not only a better scorer but rebounder as well. And the clincher is that Beasley is on a much better contact.

"MUCH" seems a little too strong a statement when comparing Patrick Patterson and Michael Beasley.

Patterson is a better defender, but he's not some elite shutdown PF. And he is a better shooter, but he's not great and Beasley isn't bad.

Beasley is a better finisher and rebounder. Just doesn't seem like the type of move you make unless there's something else going on.
