I was still not over the trade they did to net Paul George and now they get PatPat with a contract that was decent 5-10 years ago???!
Why do you think they match up well with the Rockets? Westbrook will have to guard Paul, and that is not going to go well. George is able to bother Harden, but Patterson isn't going to slow down what Anderson does and Patterson isn't much of a factor offensively.
A good bargain for the Thunder. I wish Morey could have gotten PP. Good luck to him, but not against our Houston Rockets.
You saw how Westbrook dominated the Rockets and that was without Paul George and a shooter in Patrick Patterson. Be honest, he had no help in that series. Oladipo was a no show and every game was close,
He is a good team defender (and was on the Rockets). He is a very smart defender and is almost never out of position. One on one he is average.
Westbrook didn't dominate the Rockets. He had an incredible usage rate and also played poorly at the end of games in the series. I keep hearing that he didn't have any help, he had talented players like Gibson and Oladipo but never got them involved. Even Roberson shot well early in the series. Paul George is an obvious improvement if he is motivated being a lame duck. Patterson isn't an upgrade over Gibson. Chris Paul is a better player than Paul George and the Rockets also added Tucker and have a large TPE that will be used. The Thunder's best bet to beat the Rockets in a series is to hope for injuries or massive improvement from Adams.
This is disappointing. I was hoping they'd get Rudy Gay because Rudy Gay would make them worse. Patrick Patterson is a winner. I would have loved to bring him back to Houston.
He had help. He chose not to utilize that help. It's so weird how he just barely even passes to his team mates and everybody is like "Why don't they score more? Man, Westbrook has no help!"
I only like Patpat for sentimental reasons, the truth is he has regressed a lot and was losing a lot of minutes with the Raptors especially after his injury. When he couldn't make threes anymore they just benched him
Lol. We beat the Thunder when we allowed Westbrook to get his inefficiently. The rest of the team did well against the Rockets, even shot better 3 pointers than we did, despite the media saying Harden had all the snipers.

Underrated help defender and good shooter for a PF ...that Patsquatch is Pat rather plays with WB than Harden.....unheard of...
Right now I would give Presti the slight edge just by doing the best with what he had. If Morey finishes what he promised he's the clear cut winner. 3 stars and were ready to compete with anybody
