He surely is a gimmick player like what Russ said. Overrated defense that relies on body contact, tricks, and flopping to frustrate defenders. A true agent of deception and chaos. Bev sucks. Still can't shoot or play offense. Good riddance.

as much as I loved pat, he has no answer for harden...all those fouls and fouling out put them in the penalty and at the free throw line while he fouls out....no doubt he's a good defender but when eric Gordon comes back they can't guard us all....we'll have wide open 3s so let him foul....go ahead and foul and flop and get russ stirred up. it actually brings out his A game.

Welp, Lebron James disagrees after getting shut down by a guy less than half his size. If we had that type of defensive efforts on our current team, we'd of won 5 more games. But who watches defense when you can look at espn highlights afterwards

 

Beverly is just a black Ryan Bowen. Running around giving you the illusion of defense being played. All he's doing is annoying people.

it’s interesting because those who say Bev plays defense can flip the script and say well those tricks and gimmicks are what makes him great akin to hardens plays to draw fouls. But here’s the difference...Harden actually has talent and actually blows by defenders or embarrass them with a crossover. This is skill. This is talent. Bev solely relies on tricks and gimmicks and what he lacks for in skill he makes up with these tricks and annoyances (placing his head close to a players chest, strong head jerks, exaggerated facial expressions, intentionally injuring players etc etc) that’s not talent or skill that’s being a court jester feigning toughness. KD knows this. Russ knows this. James knows this.
