Dougy is the backup 2, PB can still get minutes without a trade.

This kid is hungry and fearless. We need that kind of grit on this team. Kid's instant energy off the bench and fundamentally sound. Morey found another player

McHale seems to have a hard on for playing small-ball as well as running Douglas at point and keeping Lin and Harden attached at the hip. A Douglas-Beverley back-court is scary undersized and only going to be worst if he gets Parsons or Morris to play 4 and Patterson 5

Crazy that he already got more PT than Douglas who has played well for us this year. Anyone know if Bill and Clyde are okay?

I only got to watch Beverly play a few minutes so far, since I missed most of the last two games. But he looked really good in those two minutes. Very aggressive and quick. I liked the energy he brought.

Tbh i think harden-douglas is a good pairing along with lin-beverly.

Harden is better off with a 3-point shooting pg who plays off-ball and lets harden get his isos, and lin and beverly provide a great defensive and ball-moving backcourt.

Many people have knocked OKC for bringing a player as good as harden off the bench, but I think the OKC coaching had it right - Harden is a fabulous dominant scoring player when he is The Man with the bench, where the bench is inferior at scoring and passing the ball around.

The team has two modes at the moment - one which plays to Harden's strengths, and one to Lin's. Trying to force one or the other into the other's strengths is like forcing a square peg into a round hole. It's simply not optimal.
