The only thing I can think of is when he said the Rockets have 3 of the best defenders in the NBA (Luc, Thicc and Ariza)

If he took issue with that he mus have understood him as saying "the 3 best defenders in the NBA". Can't see why Beverly would get upset over that.

Part of the segment I watched is Amin was skeptical that the Lakers players going to Cleveland would be as good of defensive role players as Luc, Ariza etc. Not sure Bev was shading the Rockets guys as much as repping the Lakers players going to the Cavs.

I was watching. Amin said “Avery Bradley is the best defender on elite point guards - even better than Pat Beverly because Bradley has more size”. Which actually is true.

Has to be something to do with the Rockets. Still don't understand why Bev cares; nothing Amin said had anything to do with him. Unless when defense is concerned, Bev want to be mentioned always.

Bev just wants to fight. It's one of the endangering things about his personality, lol.
