We are not trading him with such a great contract.

His contract could increase his value, though.

Exactly. This is another reason why Morey's trying to move him.

Worth noting, Lakers shopped DRussell for a lottery pick, even back end of lottery, and no takers.

    #12 Detroit
    #16 Chicago
    #17 Milwaukee

    Would inquire with those teams.

Wouldn't mind trading eric gordon for the number 10 pick or number 12 pick.

It wouldn't be a 10-15 pick... most of those teams are looking at getting younger guys to build around not veteran leadership.

I voted 15-20 because some of those teams are borderline playoff teams or attempting to become playoff contenders that could use a guy like Pat, yes his contract is solid for the next 3 years but eventually you will have to pay him what he's actually worth.

Chicago seems as high as they could get, but doubt they get that high. I would expect that the Rockets would not want to bring any salary back in the trade. That means that Whoever he is dealt to would need to be able to absorb his contract into available cap space (if I understand it correctly). Many of the teams picking later in the draft would not be able to do that.

Personally, I would take a 2nd round pick for him if it meant I would have enough space to sign a more impactful player.

    Cmon a 2nd? No way...

I think Portland could be a target. They have a bad defense and the 15 and 20th pick and another 1st. I'd like to target the 15 but probably more likely to get the 20.

    Hence, I voted 15-20

Remember when the dumb Rockets gave the 8th pick for Shane Battier.

I just think his value to the team is pretty low. I believe his salary could be better allocated elsewhere. Maybe packaging Beverley + 2nd could help move up a little higher in the first round.

It's hard for me to pick one option cause i feel like his range should be 10-20, maybe 15-20, but in that range only the Bulls make sense to me, and only if they keep Butler, if they trade him well, no chance.

I also think NY (they were after him two years ago as a free agent) and Minnie should have interest in him, but they won't trade a top 10 pick for him alone, maybe if we would add something next to him.

I also wonder about the Kings, they were also after Pat two years ago, maybe they feel like he would be a good fit with Hield since Vivek also sees him as Curry lol

They need to get rid of Jackson first though, and they've Ish on a cheap deal so, i'm not sure...i mean, they need a ball handler first, 90% of times it's the pg who does that, and Pat is not exactly the guy you want to handle the ball. The Pistons have also a ton of other problems they must take care of...Drummond, Harris, Pope contract...i just don't see them having interest in Pat tbh...
