    Lock if posted already.

Julia Morales: Tell me a little bit more about your offseason and what's "now" for you

Bev: I don't know man, I'm looking for bigger things for myself so I don't know. That expanding my role with the Rockets or whatever but just looking for a lot of improvements this summer and working on my game.

Looking to get paid this summer? Or just looking for a bigger role? Thoughts?

There probably isn't much you can really say to such a question. He has one more year on his contract, and compared to some of the bums and their new contracts, yes, I'd say he's looking for some dough $ re $ mi. But won't he have to wait a year? And will Morey-ball keep him around?

Weren't DMo and Ariza just at a game, too? Guess they didn't ask Bev to join them. :)

Astros are 1-0 when Beverley goes to the game.

I also like how he called Marwin's home run, nice job Bev!

Um, Beverley won't be a free agent until the 2019 free agency, he's locked up for the next two full seasons.

As for his answer to the interview question, it sounds like the exact prototypical basketball player response to someone asking what are they going to do in the off season. "Look to work on my game, look to improve, try to expand my role to help the team" Are the exact answers every athlete will give about offseason goals.

Bev gonna command 12-15 million when he hits free agency as long as he healthy. Somebody will overpay.

ppl really that bored? he's just answering some typical questions and why would he say he wants to get paid when he's not eligible for an extension any time soon.

His role was reduced some but he needs to get better offensively people like bev don't like the way we went out only if our star player felt the same way. In this league we need another legit super star with harden if we really want to be an elite team.

I was watching, Bev was definitely getting his drink on, he referenced drinking at least twice that I remember. I thought the interview came off un-Bev like.

That "expanding his role" with the team part probably includes baby-sitting Harden, being his personal mental therapist

    Both.

Like D'Antoni said, he can run the offense more.

    And he's way under paid

Would love to see Bev develop and be more offensively accountable like he did in the game against Phoenix

He was drunk and making bets with his friends.. Probably didn't really want to answer those questions but he gave the standard protocol response...

    Nothing to see here.

Confirmed. Bev is looking to leave to Chicago.

Rockets get Sergio Llull at age 38.
