Klan-ton used to be great by himself with the AC experience. Now he thinks he knows what it's like to be black and in America and it's unbearable
I haven't listened to Houston sports radio in years (living halfway across the country helps), but John and Lance being back together sucked me back in, at least for one day. I don't know that I'll continue listening, but man it was nice to hear them together again. The chemistry they have together was obvious once again, and they seemed energized.
Same here I've avoided all local sports radio for the past few years and yesterday found out about them being back together. Listened this morning and it was great. They had Bun-b on for a while and stayed on till like 930. Fantastic radio.
1st part was about JVG coaching US National team and how it's G league players, T-Jones was on the squad. Won tourney vs Argentina down there was very emotional for him. Thinks the NBA should adopt some FIBA rules like only TO's on dead ball's. Said that game is like 90's NBA. On NBA and playoffs; said it will come down to Rox VS GS and at start of year he was thinking it'd take an injury to a GS big 4 player for us to have a shot but now he thinks if we have home court our chances are about 30% to win it. CP3 is the difference without question. Spurs can play their best and still not have enough fire power to win, quoted Manu on that one. Harden is MVP without question.
I wish they would go ahead and put CP on in drive time on 97.5. I’m surprised they haven’t moved him over there full time.
Slow day in the hangout.... Anyway I heard Raheel and Del say their spot is going to be taken over by Charlie Pallilo. Basically they are moving Charlie from 94.1 to 97.5.
Well he also said he thought we had the 'hunger' factor but that went out the window once CP3 went down...
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...-host-Charlie-Pallilo-parts-ways-16842165.php Spoiler You still listen to sports radio?
Its weird to listen to any terrestrial radio. You have to listen at a specific time and there are commercials. Same with F2a television. The only time I listen to radio is in my wife’s car when I drive it, then I flip it to streaming music from my phone.
I’m in a rental right now and have been listening because I don’t feel like plugging in my phone for the shorts trips I make in it. Charlie’s show has a podcast as well that I would listen to if anything interesting happens. It’s pretty rare though.
I get it. I'm a homebody more now than ever, and drive 5-10 miles a day to go to a workout or pick up my littlest kid at daycare. When I did travel, I enjoyed listening to local talk shows to get a different flavor.
