Okay, so now they are changing it a bit. Guillen has been released from his contract, and he is expected to sign with the Marlins. Because it had one year left on it, the Marlins would then have to compensate the Soxfor signing him. They are said to be set to send Chicago 2 minor leaguers. Similar to what was originally posted, but the semantics are a little different.
They are moving into a new stadium, going through a name change (Miami Marlins) and gaining a new logo (Yellow and Melon ewww).
Ozzie out after one year. How bad did that offseason last year backfire on them? Between Ozzie and those free agent signings(some who have since been traded), nice going Marlins.
Brand new ballpark...all that novelty....new unis..new faces. Should have been an assload of season tickets sold before the team ever had a chance to disappoint.... and they finished 18th in attendance per game.
