How many wins do you guys think each team is gonna get? These are my predictions, and tell me whether you think it'll be over or under. Dallas : 61 Phoenix : 60 Houston : 57 San Antonio : 55 Utah : 54 Denver : 51 New Orleans : 47 Golden State : 45 LA Lakers : 44 Memphis : 40 (I think they'll surprise some people) Portland : 37 Seattle : 35 Sacramento : 32 LA Clippers : 32 Minnesota : 30
This is fun, In my humble opinion...as the rosters stand now.... Dallas : 61 - Over - I think 63-65 Phoenix : 60 Over - I think 62ish Houston : 57 Over - I think 60 San Antonio : 55 Over - I think 57-59 Utah : 54 - Under - I think 52-53 Denver : 51 - Push - I think you are right on. New Orleans : 47 - Push - Again, I agree Golden State : 45 - Under - I think they will win 40-42 (probably because Davis gets injured) LA Lakers : 44- Under - 40-41 Memphis : 40 (I think they'll surprise some people) - Under - Not ready yet 37-39 Portland : 37 - WAY under - too Young 30 tops Seattle : 35 - Way Under - too young 30 tops Sacramento : 32 About right. LA Clippers : 32 - About right. Minnesota : 30 Under - they will have major growing pains...25-27 wins.
Dallas : 61 -Over, like 63 wins Phoenix : 60 -Over, a repeat of 61 wins Houston : 57 -About right San Antonio : 55 -Over, around 58-59 wins Utah : 54 -Under, about 52-53 Denver : 51 -About right New Orleans : 47 -Under, around .500 something like Golden Stats Golden State : 45 -Under, maybe like 42-43 wins like last season LA Lakers : 44 -Under, .500 team unless Kobe gets hurt, then high lottery Memphis : 40 -Way Under, 32-33 wins Portland : 37 -Over, I think they'll challenge for a playoff spot Seattle : 35 - Way Under, 27-31 wins is more like it Sacramento : 32 -About right LA Clippers : 32 -About right, maybe a little less Minnesota : 30 -Under, about 25 wins
last year the rockets were at 45.5. I bet a buttload on them, and almost had a heart attack when yao went down with a broken leg. 57 is too high a prediction. don't mistake me, i think they can get it, but i predict the line will be around 51-52 wins.
dallas and phoneix are too high. i think they'll open between 57-59 wins. minnesota is way too high at 30 wins. i think they'll open around 25 memphis and lalakers are too high as well. maybe around 35 for memphis. 41 for lalakers denver and utah look a game two too high as well
Ya dallas is too high...and S.A. is too low.. Phoenix: 63 San Antonio: 60 Houston 59 Dallas: 56 Utah: 51 Denver: 47 Golden State: 45 LAL: 43 N.O: 41 SAC: 37 SEA: 35 PORT: 34 MEM: 34 MINN: 31 LAC: 29
houston will be in the low 50s as will utah... dallas, sa and pho will be in the high 50s thats if we are going by vegas odds
low 50s? that's basically saying we will see no improvement over the regular season from last year's team, which I just don't buy. 57....book it
You guys realize that the rockets best year ever was 58 wins and that was with Hakeem in his championship years. Even with Hakeem, Barkley, and Clyde that they only managed 57 wins. I say 52 wins are about right.
Dallas : 56 Phoenix : 59 Houston : 55 San Antonio : 62 Utah : 53 Denver : 49 New Orleans : 45 Golden State : 43 LA Lakers : 44 Memphis : 38 Portland : 37 Seattle : 20 Sacramento : 26 LA Clippers : 32 Minnesota : 28
I understand what you're saying, and I agree that 57 is pretty lofty.....but I think this team is deep enough to overcome a lot of the little bumps and bruises you get during the regular season. I'm not saying this team is as TALENTED as the Championship teams, but I definitely think it's as deep. The regular season is a completely different animal than the playoffs....just ask the Mavs.
that may be your opinion but vegas odds will seem to differ. why should they put houston in the high 50s? 2 years ago mcgrady and yao went down, last year yao went down. whos to say one wont go down again and there are no guarantees with our offseason moves yet. i am thrilled and excited as everyone about the season starting but lets be real here, WE HAVENT ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING YET. its an over under, not what we think will occur.
Anybody want to bet me that the grizzlies won't make 40 wins. I'll bet 300.00 and take the over 40 wins side. Lets see how much conviction you guys have.
Dallas : 61 - Under(59) Phoenix : 60 - Over(61) Houston : 57 - Over(82) San Antonio : 55 - Over(58) Utah : 54 - Under(53) Denver : 51 - Under(50) New Orleans : 47 - Under(46) Golden State : 45 - Over(48) LA Lakers : 44 - Over(46) Memphis : 40 (I think they'll surprise some people) - Under(36) Portland : 37 - Over (had a tremendous draft and off-season)(43) Seattle : 35 - Over(36) Sacramento : 32 - Over(37) LA Clippers : 32 - Over(43) Minnesota : 30 - Over(35)[/QUOTE]
I don't think I ever said anything about Vegas odds. I just wanted to know what everyone's opinion was on how the West would shape out this year. I know Vegas would put us at 51-52 because that's the realistic choice, but I honestly feel like we'll get 57 wins this year. We've got the guns to do it, and we've got the front office to make it happen. Obviously everything would have to come together perfectly, but I feel like it will.
