The intention is good but the focus is wrong. When you study, go study. When you want to look at hot babes go to Central Market in Highland Village.
This. Also, there's now way anyone can actually study at Agora. That place is too crowded and too noisy. Also, tout suite is a pretty cool place off of commerce and I've actually been able to study there. Nice crowd too.
Coffee-house in Montrose. Free wi-fi, lots of power outlets, a little noisy. Went there once after work to go over some corporate training, left around 11:00 pm, my rear driver-side window was smashed in, and they stole a backpack with a graphing calculator in it. Burned a vacation day cleaning out my car, cleaning out shards of glass and then getting it fixed. Path of Tea, Black Hole Coffee House, Bohemeos might have enough chairs and tables; but I don't remember anything about their wi-fi or power supply. You may bite the bullet and hit that Starbucks at Post Oak and Westheimer.
Brasil cafe (Across the street from agora) Black smith Black hole Inversion Honeymoon (DT restaurant/bar/coffee shop) Siphon (if you get lucky enough to get a seat; Asian chicks love this place) Someone mentioned Catalina but they don't have wifi
Beans cafe on Eldridge between memorial and briar forest. You won't get the same montrose vibe but still one of the better ones out the loop.
I know this is a joke but I moved inside the loop last year ... I had no idea what I was missing. I get whiplash driving down Allen Parkway after work. Also the H-E-B on Dunlavy and Alabama is a magical place.
