Yeah. I was searching Weir, Mississippi tornadoes and some of the first results were some bad ones that went through there almost a year ago today. I almost linked to one of those before I caught that it said 2010.

Give me the thread of hurricanes over tornadoes anyday.

Dude is a cowboy. I remember reading that when he signed that massive contract with Drayton that his dad, however old, refused to quit working as a logger despite the dangers and pleas from Roy and family, and presumably still continues logging. Hope everything is alright, and that he returns to Philly soon. It would be a real shame if he wasn't a part of this season.

Hope Oswalt's family is OK and hats off to the Phillies organization for letting him take the time off to check in on his family.

    Hopefully they're all right.
 Just them, or the entire town? Sounds sort of elitist to say "Roy and his family move out of MS", don't you think? :( It's bad for anyone living there.

You dont live in MS if you have money.

MS is a white peoples ghetto.

Once you get money you GTFO as fast as possible...have you ever been there? Its a cesspool of backwater republicans and racists.

Yeah but it's got to be tough to go out there and try to help others when your own family is in trouble. I'd rather get them out and keep them safe. That would allow me to help out my neighborhood with a much clearer head.

At the very least I hope he considers getting them out during tornado season.

    ummm, ok my bad.

Bottom line is, some people don't have a choice; they're stuck in Mississippi. Roy has options, that's why I singled him out. I apologize if it offended you and came off as elitist - certainly wasn't my intent.
