I have one of these just below my right knee. These things flare up on and off. http://www.orthopediatrics.com/docs/Guides/osgood_schlatter.html
i have that on both my knees..i know how u feel.being Muslim..it hurts like hell when i pray..ive been really thinking about surgery..don't know how much it would cost though..
Does yours flare up and go away after a while and then come back at some later time? Mine is on and off. Oh well, this is the closest thing I've had to an injury other than ankle sprains in my short lifetime so I guess I'm thankful for that. This is how the world ends. Not with a bang, but with an Osgood-Schlatter Lesion.
Knobby knees.... I had them growing up and they were painful. The pain eventually went away and I'm fine.
Take pain meds (anti inflammatory ) and if it persists you might use corticosteroid (won't make you buff but decreases inflammation). Not much else can be done except conservative management unless it becomes very large and you feel like you need it removed.
Had this when I was younger .. remember it being super sensitive to any kind of contact ... small tap would be extremely painful .
is it possible to have these near the elbow too? I think my brother in law has it from carrying a baby around all the time.
Have it on my left knee. Sucked when it first appeared, but after a year or so it has no effect on me.
