The beaver faces right, the duck is swimming left (think of the silhouette of a duck on water). The beaver's orange 'eyebrow' gives definition to the duck's head. They share the same white eye, which makes the surrounding black look like a mask on the duck's face. The beaver's 'cheek' serves as the duck's breast. The Beaver's whiskers above his teeth accent the tail feathers of the swimming duck.
I see it. They share the eye. Beaver faces right, duck faces left. The orange line that jets out to the left below the eye is the upper bill and the line that's below that is the lower bill.
This ugly duckling possesses an extra lower bill, has a lightning bolt pompadour, and is wearing a Tonto or Robin eye mask. Not a good look.
