Strong play by Casspi. Though is kinda what Casspi always does. He's a good player from summer to December. Plays well preseason and early season. Then he just regresses and gets scrubbier as he goes. Last season was his first where he finally played semi-consistent.
Consistency was his biggest issue and he could not handle the freedom McHale gave him so that should tell you all you need to know. He was basically Josh Smith, who also was given the freedom to jack up shots and go to the hole whenever he feels like it. Casspi just failed miserably at that. He did well in Sacramento because he was playing for a contract and something about that team brings out the best in him.
