Olympiacos’ coach Panagiotis Giannakis has sent former Houston Rocket guard Von Wafer home after clashing with one of the coaching staff.

The problem with Wafer comes days before Olympiacos plays some very important games against Partizan and rivals Panathinaikos.

Von Wafer, who along with fellow NBAer Linas Kleizawas signed by the Greek club over the summer, is averaging 7.7 pts in three Euroleague games thus far. Wafer played five seasons in the NBA, averaged 6.2 points in 13 minutes a game.

What, he wasn't getting enough playing time in practice?

Dude, say what you want, but until you've put your left foot in a cow pie when you're trying to take it strong to the barn door, you haven't really experienced frustration.

Sending you good thoughts, Von. It takes a placid heart and a strong nose to thrive there.

Can't make this stuff up. This is... what, the fourth time he's done this to four different organizations?

    7.7 PPG?

i thought he was a proven NBA scorer with ELITE athleticism and he only musters 7.7ppg in the euroleague?

Von will always be that knucklehead at least he is a paid knucklehead.

Brandon Jennings looked TERRIBLE in the Euroleague last year. Just saying.

Childress' ppg took a dip his first year overseas as well.

I didn't expect him to go over there and put up 15+ a game. That isn't how the Euro game works

Well go check out some Euroleague games and you might be surprised that they play amazing basketball. Not better than NBA but they're not lacking a one bit behind any NBA club
