    From ESPN:

Houston center Hakeem Olajuwon underwent medical tests which showed
that he is suffering from exercise-induced bronchospasm and is
questionable for the Rockets' home game against Sacramento on Thursday,
    a Houston spokeswoman said.

The Rockets would not disclose what the treatment plan
would be for the condition, which is a temporary narrowing of
the airways, induced by strenuous exercise.

    ******

    Bronchospasm? That sounds made up.

HOUSTON (AP) - Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon could return to
action Thursday now that his short-windedness has been diagnosed as
    a treatable asthma-like condition.
'A lot of people have this. It is not major,' Olajuwon said.
'When they ran all these tests, thank God I found out that I am
    healthy.'

Olajuwon intends to play Thursday in a home game against the
    Sacramento Kings.

The condition is treatable with inhalers, team physician Walter
    Lowe said.

Why did Olajuwon say "thank God"? I thought his god was "Allah."

Not to turn this into a religious forum, but technically God and Allah are one-in-the-same (Islam, Christianity, and Judaism had the same foundation in beliefs). Every language has its own name for Who "we" call "God".

Someone feel free to correct me. [IMG]

Has it actually taken over a month for some of the best sports medicine staff in the world to find out that Hakeem can't play more than 18 minutes a game because of asthma? Man.

Well, here's to 26 minutes a game and a healthy Cato!

Bronchospasms? First time I've ever heard of it.

Convenient timing for them to be a problem. Tank tank tank. Oh well. Time to watch our team go down in flames for the rest of the season. It's just hard to get used to lowered expectations like this, and to looking forward to a lottery ball...
